If you've never skiied Magic before, this is the year to experience the legendary terrain and charm that makes Magic a true skiing treasure. Steep narrow twisting trails, moderate groomers, and tremendous glade skiing, Magic is one of Vermont's last best kept secrets. With uncrowded slopes and fresh tracks that often last days after a storm, locals know Magic is the place to ski. Magic's "ski it if you dare" policy lets adventurous skiers enjoy all this mountain has to offer, while the updated snowmaking and grooming equipment will guarantee great skiing for the whole family

We love the relaxed atmosphere at Magic, the "non-commercialness" is a nice feel.

Where to start? SUPER terrain – love the old-school trails and all runs lead back home. You never find yourself somewhere else pulling out a trail map wondering where you are. The black trails and double blacks REALLY are black and double black. They give me shivers. And, there's never a crowd. You can ski a run top to bottom and rarely have to yield. It's just a great place to ski or ride!

Great place with challenging steeps. If they have snow, it's the place to go.

It's magic! You should definitely come and experience NE skiing how it was always meant to be. And bring your friends. But only the friendly, happy, polite ones. Otherwise they won't fit in. :)

I love how the trails are steeper and gnarlier than anything you can think of, and how I never have to fear losing my ticket for skiing them on 5 inches of snow with my rock skis.

Magic is the best mountain in Southern Vermont. Love it!

We love the old Vermont, non megacommercialized feel of Magic. We like to ski up in the backwoods!

Magic is a terrific family mountain - don't have to worry about letting the kids (or other family members) ski on their own, because you can keep tabs on them all day long! Terrain is tough, but lots of variation. We have 3 generations of our family skiing (and riding) together every weekend. Love the "old school" lifts - gives us a rest, and controls traffic on the trails. Magic rocks!

I learned to ski at Magic in the 70's and am now teaching my 4 year old to ski. Would love to see a return of the beginner chair and hill but without it we took my son right to the top and by the bottom he was snowplowing! Great mountain for all and no place better in VT...if mother nature would only give us a break and cooperate!!

Magic is a great place but the marketing leaves a lot to be desired. Think about all level of skiers and riders when you market and then the Magic of Magic will be known to all not just the extreme skiers and riders of the area. You need to let the world know that Magic is a great family resort.

Been going to Magic since the 1970s. Great place and family oriented. No crowds and some of the best terrain in the Northeast with reasonably price lift tickets
Although I live in Maryland now, I still make the trek each year with my family. All of them learned to ski at Magic.

I have a house on Magic Circle and Magic is all I ride! I love it no lines ever, and always plenty of room on the trails. Definitely the Best Kept Secret!

Magic is my all time favorite! I skied many places/countries but Magic offers the best adventure for all levels of skiing! However, still too chicken to try Master Magician - just watch my friends from the top!! Maybe one day - don't think so!
