At Trattoria Rustica, Davide Manzo has created an authentic Italian experience in the Berkshires, including the interior, built with his own hands. Most of the materials such as the tiles and brick of the bee-hive wood burning oven are imported from Italy. Important, because it is a key element in the flavors of “Antichi Sapori”- the ancient flavors of Pompeii.

Every time we've eaten at Trattoria Rustica, it had been a wonderful dinner, starting with the first time on a soft summer night outside, surrounded by flowers...almost like being in Umbria!

The decor was a delight, the service was perfection, and the food transported us to a magical place. My children were also made to feel welcome; a big plus in our book. We'd definitely come again next time we're in the area.

Always a great experience at Davides. It is like eating in a museum. If you are paying attention you will notice what was done to convert space that was not even worthy of being a storage area to thinking you are in an Italian Village.If he took pains like that to create the place , just imagine what he does to prepare your meal.
